DSP Engineer (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities:
- You design, port, optimize, and verify audio algorithms and audio modules on the target platform for the digital processing of audio signals for products, systems, and system components
- You possess sound theoretical and practical knowledge of room acoustics and loudspeaker technology and have a strong interest in the acoustic optimization and design of studio rooms for music and audio production
- You are responsible for the implementation of software applications for internal and external use, with a focus on room acoustics and DSP
- You are responsible for the implementation of audio plug-ins
- The independent evaluation, development, and implementation of new technologies and methods, including the creation of the necessary documentation in the field of digital audio signal processing, are part of your responsibilities
- You take care of the specification, setup, and evaluation of suitable hardware and software platforms for real-time implementation of algorithms, taking requirements into account
- You coordinate with the project team and create the required documentation
Your Qualifications:
- You have successfully completed a degree in electrical engineering, information technology, technical computer science, or a comparable field of study, or have an equivalent qualification and bring initial professional experience
- You possess sound theoretical and practical knowledge of room acoustics and loudspeaker technology and have an interest in the acoustic optimization and design of studio rooms for music and audio production
- You have solid to hands-on experience in the development of complex acoustics, DSP, and/or audio algorithms
- You have very good knowledge of at least one of the following programming languages: C / C++ / Python / Rust
- You have basic knowledge of Git and experience in plug-in development using JUCE
- Initial experience in applying machine learning would be an advantage but is not mandatory
- You enjoy working in a team and have very strong communication skills
- You have a self-reliant and well-organized way of working in an environment with a high degree of autonomy
- Openness, curiosity, and a strong drive for continuous personal development are important to you
- Good conversational skills in both German and English, written and spoken, for regular technical coordination complete your profile
