Technical Application Engineer SEA
Purpose of the Role
Act as a senior technical expert for the Professional Audio portfolio, driving business growth by translating complex customer requirements into effective technical solutions. The role bridges sales, product, and customer needs by providing advanced product support, delivering impactful demonstrations and training, and enabling customers and partners to fully leverage Sennheiser and Neumann solutions.
You will build and maintain strong relationships with key industry influencers, consultants, and end users, positioning Sennheiser as the preferred technical partner. Through continuous engagement with the market, you will contribute valuable insights on trends, customer needs, and competitive developments, supporting both current opportunities and future product and business strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with key industry influencers, consultants, and customers
- Provide expert technical support, troubleshooting, and solution design
- Deliver product demonstrations and support complex customer engagements
- Plan and conduct technical training sessions and develop training materials
- Support sales teams in identifying opportunities and providing technical input
- Contribute to strategic account development and customer engagement activities
- Gather and share market insights, trends, and customer feedback
- Support technical aspects of events, projects, and implementations (onsite and remote)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams
- Maintain accurate documentation of activities in CRM systems
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Strong technical expertise in professional audio, IT networks, and system solutions
- Experience in technical application engineering, pre-sales, or a similar customer-facing role
- Proven ability to deliver product demonstrations and technical training
- Commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and support sales
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Degree in Engineering, IT, Audio Technology, or equivalent experience
- Fluent in English, with willingness to travel
