Key Account Sales Manager

 

We are looking for a highly driven and strategic Key Account Manager to lead growth, retention, and long-term partnerships across key channel accounts. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key account partners—driving sales performance, strengthening relationships, and executing strategic account plans.

You will play a critical role in expanding market share by proactively selling premium audio solutions, leading negotiations, and identifying new business opportunities within existing accounts. This role combines strategic planning, consultative selling, and data-driven decision-making, requiring both commercial expertise and strong technical understanding.

Success in this position requires the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, collaborate across internal teams, and consistently deliver on revenue targets and KPIs.  This role is based in the New Jersey or New York region.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and market share
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Lead pricing, contract negotiations, and annual reseller agreements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with resellers, integrators, and distributors
  • Analyze sales data, customer insights, and market trends to inform strategy
  • Conduct business reviews and present account performance to stakeholders
  • Lead product training initiatives and drive partner engagement
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, and Technical Engineering
  • Manage forecasts, KPIs, and CRM activity tracking
  • Represent the company at key customer meetings and industry events
 
Qualifications
 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent industry experience)
  • 7+ years of outside sales experience, including key account management
  • Experience in AV or Pro Audio sales environments
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in AV industry and/or Pro Audio

 

Skills & Expertise

  • Proven success managing and growing strategic key accounts
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills with experience in pricing discussions
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Excellent presentation and executive communication skills
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to present complex solutions clearly
  • Experience creating and executing account development plans
  • Strong CRM and pipeline management capabilities

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 4 days per week as needed, including overnight travel
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
