Commercial Customer Support Specialist 

The Commercial Customer Support Specialist increases customer satisfaction and retention by providing accurate, timely information to dealers, end users, and colleagues. Responsibilities include building strong customer relationships, entering orders accurately, applying approved discounts, providing pricing, communicating backorders and ship dates, attending product training, and maintaining organized customer files.

 Ideal candidates bring experience in the pro audio industry, anticipate customer needs, handle difficult conversations professionally, and build trust in face to face interactions. They adapt well to change, seek opportunities to grow, collaborate effectively with diverse colleagues, and pursue ongoing technical and functional learning. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to manage highly detailed processes are essential, along with a positive demeanor and a results focused, accountable work style.

 

Competencies/Qualifications

 

  • Strong PC skills (MS Office; JD Edwards preferred)
  • Excellent customer service with diplomacy in difficult situations
  • Clear oral and written communication; strong phone and active listening skills
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and accurate data entry abilities
  • Effective problem solving and troubleshooting
  • Quick learner of systems, policies, and procedures
  • Detail oriented, self directed, and able to work independently or in a team
  • Able to manage deadlines and multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • High School Degree – 2 - 4-year university degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years previous customer service experience
  • Order entry and order management experience
