We are seeking a Human Resources & Payroll Administrator to support our North American operations. This role combines hands-on payroll administration with HR coordination and employee support, making it an excellent opportunity for a professional who enjoys variety, accountability, and making a meaningful impact across the employee lifecycle.

As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll across the United States, Canada, and Latin America while providing critical HR administrative support to employees, managers, and business leaders throughout the region.

 

What You'll Do

Payroll Administration

  • Own the end-to-end payroll process for employees across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
  • Ensure payroll is processed accurately, on time, and in compliance with applicable legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Enter, review, and maintain payroll-related employee transactions
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll inquiries and issue resolution.
  • Maintain payroll records and support payroll reconciliations, year-end activities, tax reporting, and statutory filings.
  • Partner with payroll vendors, Finance, HR, and management to ensure payroll accuracy and continuous process improvement.

Human Resources Administration

  • Support employee lifecycle activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee changes, and offboarding.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, communications, and employee support.
  • Assist with compliance activities, personnel file management, documentation, record retention, and audit support.
  • Prepare HR and payroll reports, forms, correspondence, and documentation.
  • Support employee engagement, wellbeing, and HR initiatives.
  • Contribute to local, regional, and global HR projects focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.

 

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • College degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in payroll and HR administration.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with payroll systems, HRIS platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational, time-management skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with the highest level of discretion.
  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience processing payroll in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
  • Experience working within a multinational organization.
  • Experience supporting employees across multiple countries and cultures.
  • Bilingual capabilities in English/French or English/Spanish.
