Specialist Demo Stock & Event Support 

 

We are seeking a Demo Stock & Event Support Specialist to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. In this highly visible role, you'll be responsible for managing demonstration equipment and supporting product demonstrations, customer events, tradeshows, and sales initiatives that showcase industry-leading audio solutions.

This role combines inventory management, logistics coordination, technical setup, and customer engagement. You'll play a critical role in ensuring our products are always ready to impress customers, partners, and end users while serving as a knowledgeable ambassador for our brand.

 

About the Job:

Demo Inventory & Logistics Management

  • Manage and maintain all demonstration equipment used by Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Track demo inventory movement and ensure assets are available, functional, and deployment-ready.
  • Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Evaluate returned equipment to determine usability or repair needs.
  • Ensure all demonstration equipment is updated, tested, and running the latest firmware.
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipping logistics, including Canadian shipments and export/customs documentation.
  • Source and organize equipment needed for customer demonstrations, tradeshows, and marketing events.

Event & Demonstration Support

  • Prepare, configure, connect, and maintain professional audio demonstration systems.
  • Support customer events, internal meetings, tradeshows, and product showcases.
  • Assist Sales and Marketing teams with on-site and virtual demonstrations.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and ensure demonstrations run smoothly from start to finish.
  • Maintain event equipment and materials to ensure professional presentation standards.

Customer Engagement

  • Deliver introductory technical demonstrations of professional audio solutions.
  • Explain product features, capabilities, and benefits to customers, consultants, end users, and business partners.
  • Help create engaging, hands-on product experiences.
  • Represent the company with professionalism, enthusiasm, and customer focus at all interactions.

 

What We're Looking For:

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond quickly to urgent requests.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable interacting directly with customers and presenting technical information.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Hands-on experience connecting, configuring, and troubleshooting professional audio or AV systems.
  • Passion for audio technology and interest in the professional audio industry.
  • Knowledge of logistics, shipping processes, and inventory management.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

 

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of three years of specialized vocational training, related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in professional audio, AV, live sound, conferencing, broadcast, production, or related industries preferred.
  • Working knowledge of professional audio equipment and signal flow strongly preferred.
