Key Responsibilities

 

  • Frontend Development & Architecture — Leads the development of responsive, intuitive interfaces using React, Angular, or Vue.js for web, and/or Flutter for cross-platform mobile, integrating frontend components cleanly into the broader stack and setting technical direction and best practices for the team.
  • Backend & Cloud Development — Builds and maintains cloud-native backend services on Azure (Functions, App Services, Cosmos DB,AKS), leverages Azure Blob Storage, Media Services, and Event Hubs for audio file processing, and develops RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and WebSocket services for low-latency frontend-backend communication.
  • Data & Performance — Designs and optimizes large-scale audio data storage using Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and other NoSQL solutions, and owns performance, scalability, and security across the stack, with particular attention to real-time processing and low-latency operations.
  • Leadership & Collaboration — Mentors junior and mid-level developers, leads technical reviews, and coordinates with product, design, engineering, and audio teams to deliver high-quality features, taking on broader technical responsibility and contributing to resourcing and planning decisions.
  • Engineering Practices — Maintains and optimizes CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, defines unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies, and champions security best practices to ensure compliance in managing audio content.

 

Required Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of experience in fullstack development, including substantial frontend ownership, working on cloud-native applications.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, with demonstrated

             depth in at least one.

  • Strong knowledge of Flutter/Dart for cross-platform mobile app development.
  • Proficiency in backend development using languages such as C#, Python, Node.js, or Go.
  • Expertise in designing and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services, including Azure Functions, App Services, Cosmos DB, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, with practical experience using Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native development practices, particularly with Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with cloud security practices, including Azure AD, OAuth2, JWT, and Azure Key Vault.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and synthesize complex technical problems and solve them independently, adapting approach across both well-defined tasks and ambiguous, evolving requirements.
  • Proven track record of mentoring, coordinating, or leading the work of other engineers.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences and to influence decisions across teams.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with audio-related technologies, such as the Web Audio API, audio streaming protocols, or media content handling.
  • Familiarity with real-time audio processing and on-demand media delivery.
  • Experience with Azure Media Services for audio/video processing and streaming.
  • Knowledge of serverless architectures and event-driven design using Azure Event Grid, Service Bus, or Logic Apps.
  • Experience working in agile development environments, with familiarity in Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
  • Passion for audio technology and a deep understanding of the challenges and needs within the audio industry.
