Main tasks
  • Provide technical coordination in the area of RF Design in collaboration with external ODM-partners
  • Creation of wireless system designs and derivation of relevant technical parameters down to the component level
  • Review of concepts, simulation results, electronic schematics, PCB layouts, and measurement results for wireless audio transmission systems
  • Verification of prototypes and communication of the maturity level to the supplier and the rest of the project team in Germany
  • Identify areas for product or system improvement. Oversee and verify bug fixes and performance improvements to ensure that requirements are met and Sennheiser quality standards are applied
  • Ensuring measurement capability at external suppliers, evaluating measurement setups, and providing guidance and hands-on support to less experienced engineers to ensure reliable results
  • Commissioning and coordinating certification measurements at external testing facilities
  • Participation in technical reviews and preparation of requirements documents in coordination with teams in Germany
  • Evaluation and selection of development partners in collaboration with the project team, particularly with regard to their (RF) development expertise
  • Preparing technical documentation of the development results and the necessary intermediate steps in coordination with the project team


Requirement profile

 

Education:
  • University degree (Master or PhD) in electrical engineering, communications technology or RF Design, or a related field

 

Knowledge and skills:
  • Several years of professional experience in the development of RF components and systems, including mixed-signal design
  • In-depth knowledge of RF simulation software as well as modern measurement techniques and their automation
  • Independent problem analysis and solving
  • A structured approach to work, even when juggling multiple tasks and under pressure
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to collaborate across disciplines in international teams
  • Experience coordinating technical teams
  • Experience in creating technical documentation and conducting reviews
  • Excellent skills in spoken and written English
