UX Design Strategist (m/f/d)

 

 

As a UX Design Strategist, you will shape seamless, end-to-end user experiences across hardware, software, and services. Operating at solution level, you combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution to ensure a consistent, human-centered experience across the full user journey. You act as a bridge between Product, Development, and the central UX Team, driving UX excellence while enabling teams to deliver user-centered solutions today and in the future.

 

 

Your tasks:

 

  • You help to define a holistic UX vision across integrated hardware, software, and services and balance user and business needs with a human-centered approach in line with strategic goals
  • Planning, prioritization and execution of UX work are key part of your role, as well as steering of externals for delivery. Along the process you participate in product trio decision-making and ensure that design decisions are documented and shared
  • As UX expert, your share your knowledge in UX coaching & guidance of Solutions Leads, Innovation and Product managers and enable through process support, facilitation of workshops, research projects of current and future products and solutions
  • You identify and harmonize pain points on different flight levels, from high-level UX concepts to granular UI elements
  • A key part of your role will be journey facilitation & mapping for different User Archetypes & Market Verticals for solutions (combination of Hardware, Software and Services) and to review and optimize user flows, wireframes, and interaction models
  • To achieve broader consistency of user flows, you review and manage design concepts and assets (e.g., in Figma) and ensure design system alignment and visual consistency
  • As a key member of our growing UX expert community, you actively shape UX structures and contribute to increasing the UX maturity of our company. This is reflected, for example, in your contribution to building our centralized design system

 

 

Your qualifications:

 

  • You hold a degree in UX/UI design or a related field, along with proven UX training and certifications
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in UX design roles, preferably in agile, cross-functional software and hardware projects. Industry-specific experience is a plus
  • Your portfolio demonstrates your extensive expertise in UX research and design methods and their associated deliverables. Ideally, you have experience working with design systems
  • Fluency in English and ideally German enables you to proactively network and share UX best practices and trends in your field
  • With your curious, open-minded, and empathetic personality, you easily inspire others with your passion for UX, design, and B2B
  • Where research and design activities cannot be conducted remotely, you are open to occasional travel
