Apprenticeship 2026: Industrial clerks (m/f/d)

When it comes to business and commercial tasks, industrial clerks are like a Swiss Army knife: they can handle a wide range of responsibilities. They ensure smooth processes in materials management, coordinate production, boost sales in marketing and distribution, work in financial accounting, or support HR management. At Sennheiser, you’ll experience this diversity from day one. During your apprenticeship, you’ll rotate through more than 15 departments, gaining insight into the structure and operations of our company. As a global specialist in audio technology, your daily work will be anything but monotonous—especially for industrial clerks, who enjoy a wide variety of tasks and exciting roles.

What does the apprenticeship look like?

Your journey begins with several workshops in the first few days. You’ll meet other apprentices and learn the basics—covering topics like teamwork, rhetoric, presentation skills, and telephone training. These workshops are typical at Sennheiser and often go beyond the standard training framework. Here, you don’t just learn for a job—you gain skills you can use anywhere, expanding your opportunities far beyond the workplace.

After that, you’ll start your departmental rotations: HR, Finance, Materials Management, Logistics, Purchasing—everything. We’re happy to consider your interests and strengths. Is there a topic or area you’re particularly passionate about? No problem—you can spend more time there. You’ll also visit our training center and the Sennheiser Sound Academy, our professional development hub for audio experts.

Twice a year, you’ll attend vocational school for six weeks of block lessons. After completing your apprenticeship, you’ll receive an employment contract in your role. What happens next? Many of our apprentices continue their education, specialize further, or start a part-time degree program. We support you along the way—with part-time contracts, scholarships, or dual study programs. Who knows—maybe you’ll help shape the future of our company and become part of the innovative spirit that makes us proud.

Your Profil:

Education: You have a secondary school diploma (Realschulabschluss) or are about to complete it and enjoy Math, English, and German (C2).
Qualification: For us, your character, personal interests, and sense of responsibility are what matter most.
Experience: You have an interest in working with people and ideally some experience from an internship in HR management.
Skills: You are open-minded, enthusiastic about communication—even in an international environment—interested in business and commercial topics, and you are committed and a team player.

We’re not looking for a perfect GPA—we’re looking for personalities. Of course, good grades don’t hurt. But maybe you have other skills or extracurricular activities that show your enthusiasm for this profession. Let us know!

What you can expect from us:

Work Environment: Enjoy varied tasks in an international family-owned company.
Industry: Help shape the business melody behind the scenes and become part of our team as an industrial clerk—where we create the sound for the world’s biggest stars.
Support: We’ll provide every possible resource during your apprenticeship so we can achieve your goals together.
Flexibility: At Sennheiser, we offer an extensive flexitime model

Contract Benefits: Attractive collective agreement including holiday and Christmas bonuses, a 35-hour workweek, and a company pension plan.
Salary: 1st year: €1,264;
2nd year: €1,334; 3rd year: €1,439

Extras: Childcare, employee discounts, subsidized meals in our canteen, Hansefit membership, and many more benefits.
