Health, Safety & Environment Manager (m/f/d)

Are you interested in the field of HSE, eager to develop further in this area, and bring the necessary commitment and perseverance? Then you’re in the right place!
As part of an intensive training program to become a Health and Safety Specialist with an external provider, you’ll have the opportunity to work with us as a Health, Safety & Environmental Manager. You would become one of our safety specialists and a point of contact for the areas of fire and operational environmental protection. After successfully completing the training and various qualification measures, you will be able to take full professional responsibility for the various tasks and topics and advise the entire Sennheiser KG as well as some of our German subsidiaries on these matters.

 

These tasks await you in our team:

  • After completing the training, you will take on professional responsibility for specific support areas within the HSE team.
  • As a Health and Safety Specialist, you will provide advice on occupational safety in accordance with §6 of the Occupational Safety Act, e.g., for the planning, execution, and maintenance of operational facilities and work equipment.
  • You will initiate occupational safety measures and train colleagues in occupational safety, fire protection, and environmental protection.
  • For overarching topics, you will initiate processes within the framework of quality and environmental management to ensure legal compliance (e.g., hazardous materials and waste management, radiation protection, etc.).
  • As a Fire Protection Officer, you will advise on all matters related to preventive, defensive, and organizational fire protection in accordance with DGUV Information 205-003 / vfdb Guideline 12-09/01 / VdS 3111.
  • As our Environmental Protection Officer, you will ensure that environmentally relevant processes are carried out in accordance with legislation (e.g., waste management, facilities handling water-hazardous substances – AwSV, etc.).
  • You will be our point of contact for insurance companies and authorities.
  • You will continuously work on process improvement and develop concepts for the topics mentioned above.
  • You will also participate in internal and external projects and working groups related to the above topics.

 

These qualifications you bring with you:

  • You have a completed degree and/or are a certified technician or master craftsman in a technical or safety-related field.
  • You are willing to undergo training as a Health and Safety Specialist or ideally already possess the required safety expertise in accordance with the Occupational Safety Act.
  • You are also willing to pursue further qualifications, such as Fire Protection Officer, Waste Officer, or Hazardous Materials Specialist.
  • You have excellent German and English language skills.
  • You communicate openly and reliably and are a valued team member due to your teamwork skills.
  • You are characterized by a high level of responsibility, initiative, and assertiveness.
