Maintenance technician for automation systems (m/f/d)

 

These are the tasks waiting for you on our team:

• You carry out repair work and troubleshooting on automated systems, as well as overhaul and maintenance work.
• You handle the adjustment of machine controls, program corrections, and the execution of test runs.
• You take on the instruction, support, and assistance of external technicians.
• Setting up new systems and carrying out assembly work falls within your responsibilities.
• You contribute to carrying out extensive repairs, conversions, improvements, and new constructions.
• You perform maintenance and servicing according to existing maintenance plans and take care of the replacement of parts, etc.
• You also create and update documentation and carry out inspections according to DGUV Regulation 3.

 

 

These are the qualifications you bring:

  • A completed, at least 3-year, job-related vocational training (e.g., mechatronics technician, industrial electronics technician, energy electronics technician, electronics technician for automation technology, or similar), company-related further training, or corresponding several years of professional experience. 
  • Experience in maintenance and repair of lathes and milling machines. Ideally from manufacturers like EMCO, INDEX, Datron.
  • Knowledge and experience with PLC controls. For example, Siemens S7-300/400/1500 or Beckhoff. 
  • Knowledge of industrial controls with pneumatics and hydraulics. 
  • Basic ESD knowledge. 
  • Good English skills at least at B1 level and German skills at C1 level.
  •  Also very good teamwork skills, combined with an open and curious character, whi is keen on working on new tasks and problems and participating in trainings. 
  •  Willingness to work in shifts.
