Team Lead Global Logistics Support (m/f/d)

These tasks await you in our team: 

• As a functional team lead, you coordinate the tasks of the Global Logistics Support Team and ensure that all relevant master data is accurately maintained.
• You monitor logistics and process KPIs, proactively derive improvement measures, and prepare decision-making materials for management.
• Among other tasks, you create and publish reports such as EU Intrastat declarations and management reports.
• You ensure compliance with legal requirements in transportation and warehousing, initiate appropriate measures, and communicate them within the Sennheiser Group.
• You prepare and deliver training sessions in both German and English.
• You are the central point of contact for our logistics partners (carriers, warehouse service providers, freight forwarders, and consultants).
• You handle international transportation and warehousing inquiries, coordinate claims, manage transport insurance, support tendering processes for transportation services, and provide documentation for dangerous goods shipments.
• You actively participate in international logistics projects, regularly evaluate transportation and warehousing processes, and independently implement optimization measures.

There qualifications you bring with you:

• You have completed training at a technical college (e.g. State-Certified Technician / State-Certified Business Administrator) or a completed minimum 3‑year vocational qualification in a relevant field (e.g. Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Specialist).
• You also have several years of professional experience (at least 5 years) in a comparable position.
• You possess strong professional expertise in dispatching, customer interaction, transport planning, customs, and cost calculation, as well as initial experience in contributing to and shaping international projects.
• You have very good German and English skills and are confident in using Microsoft Office 365 and MS Teams.
• You are a team player, have strong communication skills, and are willing to travel for business purposes.
